Dresses are made for each bride and the making and delivering of your gown can take between 14 and 26 weeks depending on the designer.

No. Your bridesmaids dresses do not have to be in the same fabric as your wedding gown. Many bridesmaids dresses are designed and made in chiffon which is a fabric that compliments all other fabrics and is a beautiful fabric to wear.
Alterations are chargeable as dresses are not made to each individual brides measurements. You will be measured for your gown and the most appropriate size depending on your measurements and the size chart of the designer will be ordered for you.
When you collect your gown to store before your wedding there is a couple of ways in which to store it properly. You will be supplied with a full bridal gown cover which is made from a breathable fabric and your dress will be fine in that until it is steamed for your wedding date. Wedding dress boxes are also available for storing your gown but we would recommend hanging your gown until it is worn and boxing it after the event once cleaned.
Appointments are required to try on wedding gowns giving you a more personal service.
We would recommend just two to three guests with you to your bridal appointment. You do need to have the people with you that you need but sometimes too many visitors can overwhelm the bride.
Our bridal appointments are on average 90 minutes long.
Straps can be added or taken away from most gowns. Adding a shoe string strap, halter strap or lace or even a cap sleeve strap is possible on all strapless gowns.
When you order your wedding gown a deposit of 50% is required with the balance due on arrival of your gown in full. Payment plans are available and these are arranged on an individual requirement.
When your gown arrives into store we do ask that it is collected. You will get to try on your gown before you take it away and final fittings will be booked for you for nearer to the wear date.
We ask that a parent or guardian assists you when you come for a Prom trial.
Yes! Depending on your wedding date and the time from order to wear date payment plans can be set up. For example: If you buy a wedding gown off the rail as the sample a deposit will be required and then a monthly amount will be arranged for you for the balance. If you are ordering a new gown a deposit of £150/£200 will be required to secure the dress and once you have made payments to get to 50% paid your dress will then be ordered.
Wedding dresses can always be taken in and by a few sizes depending on the style.
This is a little more difficult to answer as all dresses are made differently. Most of our gowns have a seam allowance for easing out but this may only give you a couple of inches. We would recommend you order a gown in the size you are at the time of trying rather than buy a smaller size.
A bustle is a way we hook up your train for your evening reception. This brings up the back of the dress off the floor to make dancing etc far easier. The cost to bustle up a gown is approx £10.
Depending on the style of the dress and the design features we would recommend the size up as the dress can always be taken in. However, we will order the size you would like us to and should you choose a much tighter fit than recommended we cannot be held responsible for the dress not fitting on its arrival.
You can order a smaller size but please be aware of the pressure to lose the weight needed to fit into the smaller size. We would be able to tell you the amount in inches that each size down from your measurements would be and therefore how much you would need to loose.
No. We would recommend the groom and his best man to a first fitting and suit choosing fitting. Once the groom has decided on his outfits we can arrange an appointment for the others to be sized or this can even be done individually.
If you can bring all your maids along to the choosing of the dresses this is great as you then have everyone you need at the same time. For final fittings these can be done individually or all at the same time.
